I'd never been to an Alchemist before and met some friends here for a birthday do. Cocktails are cool but perhaps a tiny bit expensive for what they are. The theatrical element of it all is cool and the staff working the bar were really efficient, there was never a long wait even though some of the drinks take a while to make. I'm not sure I'd rush to go back there as it's not really my vibe but I had a good enough time.

The drinks tasted horrible and the garnishes were all old and manky. Bartenders are miserable and they don’t care about you or the drinks. Would expect much more from a ‘famous’ bar because it wasn’t cheap either!!

Terrible experience at this so-called renowned restaurant! First, the place was so dark we had to use our phone's flashlight just to read the menu. Then, the waitress carelessly spilled a cocktail all over me. To make things worse, after ordering fish for our main course, they took their time before finally telling us they had run out—completely unprofessional!
This was supposed to be a special night as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, but they ruined it. Frustrated, we canceled our main course and left to celebrate elsewhere with our friends. The food we did have was decent, but the service was a disaster. Would never recommend this place!

We had the delight of a visit that surpassed expectationsby the quality of staff, their service and commitment to the experience offered by this establishment. Our server was on a par with that of a fine dining establishment with both his knowledge and professionalism. Thank you so much Luiz.

What an amazing experience. The menu is unlike anything you'll ever see. The staff is accommodating and will help you decide what is best for you. Industrial, chic, ambiance with high class clientele. I would come here every night if I could, just for the atmosphere and to watch others enjoy one-of-a-kind drinks

Amazing. Experience. The concept of Alchemy cocktails is unique and creatively presented. It's a lot of fun and worth every penny! Great space service and staff

The reality of having to leave the establishment for the fact of not being able to order a drink for more than half an hour at a non-manned bar, is unfortunate all in of itself. Which is a shame as the atmosphere and the actual taste of the creatively presented cocktails is superb. But no matter those two things, it really doesn't matter if you can't order anything. And no, the bar was not busy or packed. At around 4pm on a Saturday evening, it was only a few people at the bar area at any time. And even those patrons, me and my partner included, would not get served when sitting or even approaching the bar, as there was simply no bartender. In the end, we decided to go to another establishment after only 1 drink each, when we planed to at least have 4-5.

If you are gluten free or Celiac, then do not eat here! All three servers we were met with were unable to assist with the matter or confirm the food items to be free of gluten. As a result, I am now stuck home sick on my birthday from likely gluten contamination. I would stay away if you have any sensitivities or allergies.

Went here 12/12/25 four of us for my brother-in-laws birthday.
Was very disappointed as staff looked uninterested.
We all ordered a cocktail. We were not sure what we should order . Got told the ones with the dry ice symbol were the more theatrical.
So ordered, all got put on bar we took back to table without any instructions and basically hoped for the best. I couldn’t make head nor tail how to even drink mine 😂.
Thought the least they could do was to bring to the table and show us what to do with mixing etc
So personally was the least theatrical expensive cocktail have ever had .
So sorry was not impressed.

Empty bar but no service. Had to go looking for the bartender who definitely looked like he wanted to be at home. Spent $29 quid on two drinks, forced to make tip to move forward with purchase before we got the drinks. Wilted (actually dead) mint garnish. Also, the benefit of wireless charges at the tables no good as they did not work. Terrible experience... do not recommend.
